The CANS Board

Javaid Naveed MBE

A businessman and living in Northern Ireland more than 25 years.
I am the Chairman of
Northern Ireland Muslim Family Association (NIMFA);
Northern Ireland Pakistani Cultural Association (NIPCA);
Counselling All Nations Services (CANS);
Member of Police Advisory Group;
Member of All Party Assembly Group of Ethnic Minority Communities.
I believe that as a good human being it is my duty to help peoples whenever I can and doing voluntary work more than 20 years, has helped me to fulfil this duty, it gives me great happiness when I see that the help I gave has in return helped someone else whether the person is someone who has just arrived in the country or someone who is living here long time. I had no idea that the work I do would be so much appreciated that it would be worth such a prestigious award “MBE”. I am really pleased that I have been given this honour by her Majesty the Queen.
